Democrat candidate Joe Biden has mounted an aggressive offense against President Donald Trump saying his re-election would result in more violence on American streets.

Speaking at a campaign in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Democratic nominee condemned the violence and argued the incumbent President was not capable of combatting it effectively.

Mr Biden also argued the Trump presidency made America weaker, blaming him for the number of coronavirus deaths and the economic fallout from the pandemic.
